Acharya Nagarjuna University

Established in 1976, Acharya Nagarjuna University is strategically located between Vijayawada and Guntur along the Kolkata-Chennai National Highway (NH 5). The university's foundation stone was laid on the 11th of September 1976, and the inaugural ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of the former President of India, Shri Fakruddin Ali Ahmed. Marking a significant milestone, the university celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 2001.
