UPES Dehradun Latest Update

UPES Dehradun, a renowned institution in the field of education, has recently initiated the registration process for B.Des admission through UCEED 2024. The registration window opened on October 3, 2023, and interested candidates can apply online until October 31, 2023. There is also a provision for late registration with an extended deadline until November 8, 2023.

In the latest NIRF Rankings for 2023, UPES Dehradun has achieved impressive recognition. The university secured the 52nd position in the overall NIRF University Ranking list. Additionally, in the NIRF Management Ranking for 2023, UPES obtained the 39th rank, and in the NIRF Engineering Ranking for the same year, it clinched the 54th position.

Furthermore, the QS Asia University Rankings for 2023 have positioned the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies at the ninth position among all universities. UPES boasts accreditations from several prestigious organizations such as IACBE, NBA, NAAC, UGC, Bar Council of India, and Pharmacy Council of India. The university has also received an A grade from NAAC, further highlighting its commitment to academic excellence.

UPES has recently concluded its placements for the year 2023, with nearly 2000 offers made to students. The average annual package for placements stood at an impressive Rs 8.66 lakh, and the highest package reached an outstanding Rs 36 lakh per annum. Renowned companies like Amazon, ONGC, Boeing, Microsoft India, and many more actively participated in the placement drive, offering promising career opportunities to UPES graduates.

The diverse academic offerings at UPES Dehradun encompass more than 20 industry-aligned and specialized undergraduate and postgraduate programs across seven schools.
