Acharya Narendra Deva University Of Agriculture and Technology

Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (NDUAT), established in 1975 by amending the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1958, holds a significant place in the field of agricultural education and research. The foundation stone for the university was laid by the late Prime Minister of India, Smt. Indira Gandhi, in 1974, near Ayodhya in the city of Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Affiliated with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and recognized as a State Agriculture University, NDUAT boasts a strong academic structure comprising eight colleges and eighteen departments distributed across Uttar Pradesh. The university has entered into Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with esteemed organizations such as Patanjali, Central Institute of Subtropical Horticulture (Lucknow), and Litchi Research Institute (Muzaffarpur).

At the undergraduate level, NDUAT offers a diverse range of programs including B.Sc., B.F Sc., B.V Sc. A.H., and B.Tech. For postgraduate students, the university provides M.Sc. and M.V.Sc. degrees in various specializations. Additionally, NDUAT offers Ph.D. programs in different subjects at the research level.

Admissions to all these programs are conducted through the Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET), a state-level entrance exam. Following the entrance test, the university conducts counseling sessions for successful candidates.
